Swap tokens on Monad

0x compares routes across every major Monad DEX and picks the best-priced one. Sign once to sell an ERC-20. Native MON needs no approval.

Monmint’s swap routes every Monad trade through the 0x DEX aggregator, comparing prices across Kuru, Uniswap, OctoSwap, and LFJ to fill your MON and ERC-20 swaps at the best available rate. Trades settle on-chain with sub-second finality and near-zero gas.

Common questions

What does swapping mean, and does Monmint support it?
A swap is an on-chain trade between two assets. It settles directly against decentralized liquidity pools. There is no order book, no counterparty to match, and no custodian holding your funds. Monad runs transactions in parallel, so each swap clears with sub-second finality and near-zero gas.Monmint is more than a contract deployer. It also works as a trading desk. The Swap interface lets you buy, sell, or trade any ERC-20 token on Monad. Send your community here to get your newly minted token, or move ecosystem assets like MON or USDC. It all runs from the same dashboard.
How does Monmint find the best swap price?
The built-in Swap is a DEX aggregator. It uses 0x to compare routes across every major Monad exchange at once, including Kuru, Uniswap, OctoSwap, and LFJ. 0x then picks the route that returns the most output at the lowest slippage. It does not lock your trade to one venue. When splitting your order across several pools returns more than a single source, it does that. Each swap runs in one gas-optimized transaction.
What is slippage, and why should I care?
Slippage is the gap between the price quoted on screen and the price your trade fills at. It happens when other traders touch the same pool before your transaction confirms, which moves the token’s price. Monad’s sub-second finality keeps that window short, so your slippage exposure on Monmint stays lower than on slower chains. To cap it, set a custom Slippage Tolerance in swap settings. If the fill moves past your limit, the contract reverts the trade. You never settle for worse than you approved.
What's the point of approving a token before a swap?
Approval is a safeguard built into the ERC-20 standard. Before any dApp or swap router can move your tokens, you sign an on-chain approve transaction that grants it permission. No contract can touch your balance without it. You sign it once per token. After that, every swap for that token on Monmint goes through in a single click. (Note: MON is the network’s native token, so trading MON for another asset skips the approval step.)
Does swapping on Monmint cost a fee?
Yes. Monmint takes a flat 0.5% routing fee per swap. It covers the 0x DEX aggregation that compares routes across Monad and picks the best-priced one. The output the screen shows before you sign is what you receive in your wallet.
