Crypto Profit & ROI Calculator

Calculate profit, ROI, and return multiple from your entry and exit prices, including trading fees.

This calculator turns an investment amount and your entry and exit prices into profit, return on investment (ROI), and the return multiple. ROI = profit ÷ amount invested. It also accounts for an optional trading fee charged on both the buy and the sell, so the profit reflects what you'd actually keep.

How it works

Return on investment (ROI) measures how much you gained relative to what you put in: ROI = (exit value − amount invested) ÷ amount invested. A 200% ROI means you tripled your money (a 3× return multiple). The multiple and the percentage describe the same result from two angles.

Fees matter. A fee charged on both entry and exit reduces your realized profit, especially on round-trip trades. This tool applies the fee to both sides and reports profit after fees, the number that actually lands in your wallet.

Prices here are in USD for clarity, but the math is identical in any currency — what matters is the ratio of exit to entry. The tool also shows how many tokens your investment bought at the entry price.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I calculate crypto ROI?
ROI = (exit value − amount invested) ÷ amount invested, expressed as a percentage. A result of 100% means you doubled your money.
What is the return multiple?
It is exit value ÷ amount invested. A 2× multiple means your position is worth twice what you put in; it equals a 100% ROI.
How are fees handled?
The optional fee is applied to both the buy and the sell, and profit is shown after fees — so it reflects what you actually keep.
Does this work for any token?
Yes. The calculation depends only on your entry and exit prices, so it works for any token on Monad or another chain.
